A Message from Ben Daniels

Dear all,

With 2016 now in full swing (excuse the pun) I wanted to introduce a new golf programme that will ensure you keep on top of your game - even in the coldest months of the year, because just like beach bodies... Summer golfers are made in the Winter!

Some of you have already signed up, which is great and it's this enthusiasm that has prompted me to roll it out to all members.

So what is it?

Ben Daniels' Golf Programme II 2016

Unlike the original programme I introduced last year - the 'express programme' is ideal for members in full time employment who are still looking to up their game, but are unable to commit to the original package in full. So instead of a lesson every week (ambitious for some of you), it will consist of the following:

-A lesson bi-weekly
- Four 9 hole accompanied playing lessons throughout the year
- Access to online swing analysis

The principles remain the same - you'll still enjoy vast improvements to your game including: increased consistency, a higher level of golf education, honing of your skills and strengthening the weaknesses in your game.

The cost for this adapted annual programme is £399 - it's so far proving popular among members with other commitments that still want to get the benefits of the full programme, whilst valuing their time.

So if improving your golf is high on your agenda for 2016, why not sign up?!

I look forward to hearing from you and of course any questions you have about the programme please don't hesitate to ask.

Click here to get in touch if you are interested, or would like to find out more.
Ben

 Captains news

A Message from the Ladies Captain

Sign up for a trip to visit the Air Ambulance Base at Marsden
Monday, 29 February.

I have organised a base visit to KASS 29th Feb @ 11:30am. This is a great opportunity to find out how the charity operates and the many vital roles they perform. You will get a chance to see the helicopters and all the equipment they carry.

Following the visit, you will hopefully appreciate the work that these dedicated flying doctors carry out. The tour is limited to 15 places and the sign-up sheet is in the main corridor.

If you need any further information, please contact Geraldine 07884 246 884.

Members1 news

CSI Hub to replace the member's website

Thank you to all of you who have signed up to the CSI Hub, and for anybody who hasn't please find below the details which were published in last weeks' newsletter.

By the end of February, we are planning to remove the member's site on the website and replace it with the CSI Hub. The CSI Hub is a mini site with a secured area containing Member information which is automatically updated. Members can log in and view the following features:

  • Membership list and all contact details.
  • Full Men's and Ladies Handicap lists.
  • Competition Results summaries from HowDidiDo.
  • Course analysis from How Did I Do.
  • Current Handicap details and recent graph.
  • Members card balances and recent transactions.
  • All behind a secure registration and login process.

Members tee bookings will also be taken from the website and placed onto the CSI hub. We feel this is a step forward and all the latest member's news can also be found through this site. Each section will send me through their news and it will be posted.

Please click here, then click on log in, to register. Please note that you must use the email address that we currently have on your Club V1 profile as that is how the system will recognise you. You will then be asked some security questions but please feel free to call me if there are any problems.

Course news

Trolley Use

Can I please urge any member or visitor who is playing at Bletchingley GC in the coming weeks to carry their bag if they are physically able? Although we have been blessed with excellent natural drainage, there are areas on the course that are looking tired due to trolley traffic.

We appreciate and accept at this time of year areas are going to wear, but we would like to ty and keep it to a minimum. When the season approaches the course will once again look at its best. Please play your part in achieving that goal.

I hope you like the rest of the newsletter and the articles I have for you below. Enjoy the read.
