As stated in the diary our greens will undergo their spring maintenance on Monday, where they will be hollow tined and a strong fertiliser will be applied shortly after to help kill off any moss that has started to grow. Once the temperature rises, an application of top soil will be brushed in. Applying the top soil at present with the cold mornings will encourage disease to the greens. In early spring, the greens will be scarified which will remove any unwanted grasses.

CSI Hub to replace the member's website
Thank you to all of you who have signed up to the CSI Hub, and for anybody who hasn't please find below the details which were published in the last few newsletters.
By the end of February, we are planning to remove the member's site on the website and replace it with the CSI Hub. The CSI Hub is a mini site with a secured area containing Member information which is automatically updated. Members can log in and view the following features:
- Membership list and all contact details.
- Full Men's and Ladies Handicap lists.
- Competition Results summaries from HowDidIDo.
- Course analysis from HowDidIDo.
- Current Handicap details and recent graph.
- Members card balances and recent transactions.
- All behind a secure registration and login process.
Members tee bookings will also be taken from the website and placed onto the CSI hub. We feel this is a step forward and all the latest member's news can also be found through this site. Each section will send me through their news and it will be posted.
Please click here, then click on log in, to register. Please note that you must use the email address that we currently have on your Club V1 profile as that is how the system will recognise you. You will then be asked some security questions but please feel free to call me if there are any problems.
Now that March is here, we're hoping to see a few more faces in and around the club. We're also expecting to see some dusty-looking gear, with tatty golf shoes and bags being two prime examples!
While the rain's been falling and golfers have been hiding away, your pro shop has been a busy place with new equipment arriving in store ready for the new season.
In the shoes market, we have some even sportier models hitting the shelves, as well as upgrades to popular existing models, plus one or two brand-new designs that really grab your attention. If your shoe bag is seeing light for the first time in a few months, and you don't like what you see, pop by the store.
Likewise, there are some fantastic new bags arriving in store right now. Granted, you may not find a new bag as exciting as a new driver, but a good bag is priceless if you want to keep your clubs well looked after. We've also seen demand for fully waterproof bags rise, recently, which is no surprise given the weather in the UK.
If you're coming out of hibernation, or have been meaning to upgrade that bag of yours anyway, come and find out what's new in the store or click here to take a look at some of the latest products.
