March Medal
Congratulations to Tim Burke on winning the Division 1 March Medal with a nett 72, and Matt Charman was runner up 2 shots behind on 74.
Bob Besley won division 2 with a nett 76.
The conditions were tough on the day, and by all accounts some of the pin positions were too which accounted for the high scores.
The post and rail fences have now all been repaired and replaced around the course. The hollow tining has been completed, and as mentioned last week the top dressing will be applied once the temperature rises.
Paul has sourced a grass seed that grows from 3 degrees and above. This mixed with top soil will be applied to certain fairways that are littered with old divots, most notably the 8th and 13th fairways. This task will be completed in the next 2 weeks.
The 1st drop of FootJoy Apparel has now arrived and is available to purchase from the pro shop.
A 10% discount will be offered to any customer who purchases over £100.

For any reader who is interested in purchasing new clubs before the 2016 season, please remember that we have the facility to book an appointment for you at Callaway's fitting centre just off Junction 9 of the M25.
This is an opportunity to try various clubs and shafts along with the help of a very hi spec computer system which will aid you in making the right choice.
A number of members have already been to this facility and have been blown away with the experience.
There is no charge for this service.

Calling all bridge players
As some of you may know, the Tandem Bridge Club moved from the village hall to our function room last summer, meeting every Thursday from 10.30am to 1.30pm.
We have renewed their contract and they are keen to attract new members, so if you would like to try a session please turn up and introduce yourselves.
It only costs £4, reducing to £2.50 when you join. Partners can be provided on most days.
If you would like to know any more, please call either Janet or Martin Davies on 01883 713813.
Metal Bag Tags now available to collect from the Pro Shop
For any 5 or 7 day members who have paid their subscription for this year, you may collect a metal bag tag from the Pro shop.
CSI Hub to replace the member's website
Thank you to all of you who have signed up to the CSI Hub, and for anybody who hasn't please find below the details which were published in the last few newsletters.
We are planning to remove the member's site on the website and replace it with the CSI Hub next week and BRS will also be transferred. The CSI Hub is a mini site with a secured area containing Member information which is automatically updated. Members can log in and view the following features:
- Membership list and all contact details.
- Full Men's and Ladies Handicap lists.
- Competition Results summaries from HowDidIDo.
- Course analysis from HowDidIDo.
- Current Handicap details and recent graph.
- Members card balances and recent transactions.
- All behind a secure registration and login process.
Members tee bookings will also be taken from the website and placed onto the CSI hub. We feel this is a step forward and all the latest member's news can also be found through this site. Each section will send me through their news and it will be posted.
Please click here, then click on log in, to register. Please note that you must use the email address that we currently have on your Club V1 profile as that is how the system will recognise you. You will then be asked some security questions but please feel free to call me if there are any problems.
