Captains Drive In 

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate both Mark Fuller and Pauline Bourne on becoming their respective Captains. I wish them both a very successful and memorable year and I am sure they will get the full support of the membership. My thanks also go to both John and Geraldine for their effort and hard work that they have put In over the last year and wish them a well deserved break from the captaincy spotlight. 

The drive in texas scramble competition was played in a light hearted spirit with 15 teams competing. Congratulations to Mavis Haeger, Kenny Hester, Ricky Betteridge and Kevin Sapsford on winning the event with a score of 62.09. In 2nd place was Beryl Tatnell, Michael Day, Patrick Wilkins and Jerry O' Leary on 62.12. After the competition it was for John and Geraldine to putt out on the 18th green to end their captaincy. Mark and Pauline were then transported to the 1st hole in a very decorative buggy draped with a Crystal Palace flag of whom Mark is a regular spectator and the United States flag of which pauline spends her time away avoiding the english winters. 

Keeping with the american theme both wore masks of the current presidential candidates, Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump. Both were greeted by all of the mornings competitors and it was left for them to drive in which they both did successfully. Our thanks to Viv for all her work getting the buggy ready in the morning.

   

   

   

Free Room Hire through January- March 

Any members who are looking for a function venue through January, February and March will not be charged any room hire. Currently members are offered a 50% reduction on the room hire and we would like to encourage the membership to come and ask one of our functions team for availability and a price if you are looking for a venue. 

We are competitive with anyone in the local area and we will do our best to cater to your requirements.

2017 Club Diaries 

I am pleased to announce the arrival of the 2017 club diaries. This year Wiseville will be offering the diary at no extra cost to any five or seven-day member. All other categories will pay a £5.00 charge.
