Annual brochure In December, this year, we will be taking delivery of several thousand copies of a very high quality, glossy, colour brochure. The brochure will be designed to profile our club in some depth and will be used by us to consolidate our identity and raise awareness in the local area. We shall also have marketing collateral to help attract more functions such as weddings and parties to use our facilities, and to offer opportunities to partner with local businesses for such things as golf days, networking clubs and conferences or meetings. Interspersed between those pages dedicated to the course and its facilities will be a variety of display adverts. We will offer and encourage as many of our members, guests and visitors as we can throughout the year to take and share copies of the brochure and the publisher will externally distribute a quantity to local residential areas. Advertisers such as dentists, solicitors, accountants, car dealers etc. will also be encouraged to display & distribute as many copies as possible. The brochure will be on display in the club for a minimum of twelve months (more likely 18 months) and be placed in high visibility areas around the site. An opportunity exists for any members who own their own business to be profiled in our brochure. Naturally we would like to offer first refusal on space in the brochure to our members, particularly the prime positions for greater impact and visibility.
Regarding the remaining space, the publisher will take care to ensure there are only established and appropriate businesses in the brochure with products or services perceived as being of interest or benefit to both the club and of course our members. The publisher will offer preferential terms as follows for members only – these will not be available to non-members. 1) Substantially discounted rate of £500 for a full page (50% OFF rate card). 2) A free design service for advert creation. 3) Exclusivity (to lock out competitors). 4) Account status (pay 50% on invoice, 50% on publication).
