Hello golfer,
The Charity Day is all set for Saturday 23rd June. There are tons of truly amazing prizes, a sumptuous three course lunch, the return of comedian, Adger Brown, and some terrific golfing challenges. The only thing missing is you! So far only three teams have signed up and I have to confess to feeling pretty vulnerable to a massive piece of embarrassment. More importantly, a terrific cause looks set to miss out. I would, therefore, appeal to you to read the information below and then sign up either as an individual or as a team of four on the noticeboard or by emailing Joanna Hill at joanna.hill@sipp.co.uk.
The main objection that I have heard is, "Why would I want to pay £50 to play my own course?" It's a fair question so let's look at what you get for your £50. You start the day with a bacon roll and finish it with a three course lunch. During the lunch there will be entertainment in the form of comedian Adger Brown. There is a wide array of sponsored prizes worth £16 per head to be won (see below). There will also be free drinks and snacks available on the course and, assuming I can find a sponsor, there will also be goody bags on arrival. In short, anyone playing will have a terrific day and the £50 entry cost is noticeably less than what you stand to receive.
The fund-raising element for Hope & Homes for Children will come from the companies who are sponsoring the prizes, drinks and goody bags, the raffle and the auction.
Prizes

I hope this is enough to make you willing to support me on this event.
