Bletchingley Pro Am - Friday, 28 August

The entry list for the Pro Am is now on the main noticeboard. The format for the day is 

- Coffee bacon rolls on arrival 
- 18 holes with a leading PGA Professional in the South Region 
- 2 course buffet 
- Prize giving 
- The cost for members will be £50 per head and members guests will be £65.00

Our teaching professional, Ben Daniels has been coaching here at Bletchingley for the past few months and is loving getting to know all our members and helping improve their games.

Next weekend, (Saturday, 22 and Sunday, 23 August) he will be running a short game weekend in association with PING, who have provided us with their latest range of putters and wedges for you to try FREE of charge!

This is a great opportunity to get a feel of what the latest clubs can do, and learn how much they could improve your game!

For anyone not using a specialist wedge, you'll soon understand the benefits they provide!

Pace of Play

Following the August Medal and Lesley's work in timing groups, we noticed a number of large gaps appeared in the field. 

It is the responsibility of every member to make sure they stay with the group in front and not just stay ahead of the group behind. If you do lose ground please make sure you let the group behind through if you are holding up proceedings!! 


 

AGM 

Do think you could make a difference and improve the members section? 

As we approach the AGM in September, we are aware of the need to fill certain posts for the coming year, a notice has been placed on the main board, but we have had no takers to fill the relevant vacancies....especially that of Secretary. 

The Club can only run if Members participate and play an active role, so please come forward and play your part in making Bletchingley Golf Club, the club to join!
